You are right. I was wrong. This basketball player has played games for teams in the Ligue Nationale de Basket. In an "edit summary" I wrote "Blatant untruths verging on vandalism removed"
That was obviously, manifestly wrong. I should have done more research before I wrote that.

It may be argued that apologies are sort of cheap to people who willingly admit when they are wrong. There is there is a whole other discussion that may be had there...
Whatever: I will do my best to fix up my particular mistake.
