Adding reference on wiki articles

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Hello Anurag2k12! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.

1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
2. Then click on "templates",
3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,

Reflink Tool

Since you are doing good work with references, I would suggest that you look into User:Dispenser/Reflinks, if you havn't already. It is an automated tool, which fill in the bare references without any user effort. To illustrate the power of this tool, see this and this. This would make finding and reworking refs much easier/convenient, giving you time to spend energy on other productive things. Do go through the suggested edits/preview as all responsibility of making the edit lies on you, and a bad edit would be blamed on you, not the tool. So use it knowing that. Trichy Assault Rifle

Hi Anurag,

I'm very pleased to learn that you took time to go through the links provided. Trichy Assault Rifle (TAR) is an improved variant of AK-47 and has the fastest firing rate of 800 rounds/minute compared to the standard 600 rounds/minute of AK-47 in the burst mode. However, it became the problem as it caused stoppages so it was finally reduced to 650 rounds/minute which is again significantly higher than that of AK-47s. Overall, it's a variant of AK-47, you can even see it listed in AK-47's variant section. You may also want to look at the references to TAR in OFT's article which are

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge!
