Advice for creating articles edit

You seem to be having problems creating articles that comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so the following is a standard message dealing with that very issue. Hope it helps.

A Wizard is available to walk you through these steps. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

Before creating an article, please search Wikipedia first to make sure that an article does not already exist on the subject. Please also review a few of our relevant policies and guidelines with which all articles should comply. As Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, articles must not contain original research, must be written from a neutral point of view, should cite reliable sources which verify their content and must not contain unsourced, negative content about living people.

Articles must also demonstrate the notability of the subject. Please see our subject specific guidelines for people, bands and musicians, companies and organizations and web content and note that if you are closely associated with the subject, our conflict of interest guideline strongly recommends against you creating the article.

If you still think an article is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Your first article. You might also look at Wikipedia:How to write a great article for guidance, and please consider taking a tour through the Wikipedia:Tutorial so that you know how to properly format the article before creation. An Article Wizard is also available to walk you through creating an article. – ukexpat (talk) 23:00, 13 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm fixing it now I want this page up and running--Anen87 (talk) 20:53, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

In the Alexandra Powers article I created I found a website that says she is in Scientology. Here's the website: http://www.truthaboutscientology.com/stats/by-name/a/alexandra-powers.html Should this be used as a reference in the article? Please let me know.

Chaska Borek edit

All I ever did was tag the article as being uncategorized — I didn't create it, and don't particularly care whether it stays or goes. In fact, as an administrator I'd be quite happy to do the deed. Bearcat (talk) 00:07, 25 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Recent additions edit

I see you've added content to numerous articles recently. While I'm sure everyone who reads the articles can appreciate that, sentences like, "Was chosen to be in the Pirelli Calendar 2010 photographed by Terry Richardson in Bahia, Brazil" is poor writing, and it seems you are adding such writing (in fact, that exact sentence) to articles by the boat-load. I apologize if this comes across as harsh, but I don't want to have to go through dozens of articles correcting grammar. Also, there is really no need to say a calendar launched in January. That's generally when calendars are launched.  Mbinebri  talk ← 20:00, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Bixler-Zavala is first-generation M-A hailing from a suburban, middle-class family. Cedric’s father is a university professor. Omar and Cedric met in a rehearsal garage in the Texas border town of El Paso in 1989, two kids with green mohawks. “My bandmates were ruthless,” Cedric recalls. “They forced me to listen to things I wasn’t into. The punkest thing is to be well versed in all sorts of music.” From the beginning the two became inseparable. Growing up in El Paso gave them their edge.[1] [2]http://www.ulike.net/Cedric_Bixler-Zavala --->

Disambiguation link notification for October 11 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Monica Raymund, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

March 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Christiane Martel may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Bree Condon - Scuba diver? edit

Hi

I noticed that you added the sentence "She is a professional scuba diver." to the Bree Condon article, with this edit.
I realise it's a long time ago, but I was hoping you might recall where that information came from, so that we could add a source. I searched, but couldn't find anything.
Thanks. Begoontalk 05:10, 6 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sheila Márquez edit

The article Sheila Márquez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable model. No coverage per WP:SIGCOV and doesnt satisfy WP:NMODEL. References are routine.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. scope_creep (talk) 22:18, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
