Hello Ancient lobster king. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. I have a stated conflict of interest with my current employer. However, I also use this account to make contributions that are personally interesting to me. What activity is this regarding? It would be helpful to me if there was a less verbose, more specific account of what behavior "gives the impression [I] have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic." I have tried in the past to make edits for the Slingr page, which have been mostly rejected, which seems to be appropriate. Hi Ancient lobster king, it was in regards to Richard Wolstencroft but to be honest, its been so long ago I can't recall why I suspected a COI or paid editing. If neither COI/Paid applies, then please just confirm. S0091 (talk) 20:10, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
