Sister projects & interwiki linking

If you want to write a dictionary definition, recipe or quotation archive, consider using one of Wikipedia's sister projects, such as Wiktionary or Wikiquote. These are more specialised, as they focus on a particular type of page. Links can be made to these pages by adding the project name as a namespace ("Wikiquote:", "Wikibooks:", "Wiktionary:"), or using the shortcuts ("Q:", "B:", and "Wikt:", respectively). Wikipedia is written by volunteer editors and hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organization that also hosts a range of other volunteer projects:

October 2022 edit

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 20:56, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Calling other editors vandals when they are repairing links is uncivil. DrKay (talk) 21:02, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@DrKay you are absolutely disrupting this page. Not only have you changed the page description. You have included non existent titles, with no knowledge of the Albanian Royal house. Now i have been tasked by the Albanian Royal Court to fix these issues. Please write to info@albanianroyalcourt.al or albanianroyalfamily@gmail.com for clarification. Albpasion (talk) 21:07, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I opposed the change to the page description actually[1] but the community decided otherwise[2]. For further changes, you will need to show that the consensus of the community has changed. Until then, the consensus of the community holds. DrKay (talk) 21:13, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Albpasion! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 21:16, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. DrKay (talk) 21:17, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Leka, Prince of Albania shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You have performed three reverts in quick succession. You must not perform another, or you will be at risk of being blocked. DrKay (talk) 21:18, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@DrKay the only community member making changes is you. Based on facts. Please visit www.albanianroyalcourt.al for details of protocol. Or request verified Social media accounts for details. Or write to the Albanian President… but stop vandalizing this page!!! Albpasion (talk) 21:25, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Albpasion. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Don't call good faith editors who are repairing links or restoring community consensus vandals. DrKay (talk) 21:30, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:37, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.. Lolkikmoddi (talk) 21:38, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
