Hey mate. Actually, from what I can tell, 聖痕 is also in the logo... seems to be a subtitle. I'm assuming it's there to give actual meaning to the kana for Stigma. We should probably keep it around on the page somewhere. Maybe in parenthesis after the kana? Let me know what you think. --Darkbane 01:21, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

- Sorry about that, it was Ganryuu. He edited it saying that because it's the official title, that we should use it (although the anime as you can see from the visual title on the page, has Stigma in big katakana and seikon (聖痕) is small). Although I'm a bit confused as to why the page focuses mainly on photos of the anime if the page is as he said, first and foremost about the novel. The official site for the anime uses the katakana like we were doing. There are no photos of the characters in manga form, nor is the visual title of the novel either. The only thing that makes this page about the novel is the fact that the novel was created first. - Yeah, I know. I said that in the spirit of "I am washing my hands from the title discussion before we turn fleas into elephants", lol. Ganryuu does have quite a lot of experience with this stuff though, even if I disagree with him on some other issues.
- I think the best is to add more info from the novels. The page has most info from the anime because the anime is airing now. It does contain a few details based solely on the novels, that have not yet been mentioned in the anime, mostly thanks to usagijen (a blogger and AnimeSuki member) translating the character relationship poster. Beyond that, I can only do so much with automatic translation... -_-; I know a couple more character details, but I'm not sure if they're correct or my guesswork so I'm not comfortable about integrating them. If you feel like translating any stuff from the Japanese Wiki, which has a lot of info from the novels, go right ahead. There's a wealth of information on there.
- I could in fact add some pictures from the novels, but the manga style in the novels is not very polished. The characters' faces look odd, and even Kazuma looks like a kid. Since both are fair use anyway, I'd like to stick to anime ones if we can for now.
- I'll upload a cover of the novel though, to give the page some more validity in that regard.
- Based on what usagijen has blogged, there aren't any drastic differences between the anime and novels so far, just a couple of cut scenes and reordered events. So with respect to character descriptions, it's safe to say that at the moment they apply to both novels and anime.

- It wasn't that I'm trying to say editing is a bad thing, but more that I've had a lot of my edits reverted. While I was incorrect in a few, this one I can safely say is correct, so it kind of stung to have it reverted back. I still believe though that the handling of Japanese content is a bit broken here. You see articles go based on the English version (the only reason this article can contain the macron is because the English translation of Yu-Gi-Oh! uses the macrons.) which doesn't really show the correct pronunciation of names. Such as Touya from Cardcaptor Sakura being called Toya without a macron. While it is in the translated version of the CCS manga and the subtitled version of the anime, it isn't the correct romanization of the name. I mean Touya and Toya are pronounced differently, so I'm not sure why they couldn't spend that extra time with the macron. Why we have to go based on the English copies, I'm not sure. I mean it's not like the series was produced in English first. If someone spelled bug as a buge, should we start spelling it buge in the bug article and in every other article that contains the word?
- Sorry to go on and on though about CCS when talking about Yu-Gi-Oh!, hehehe. I'm a huge CCS fan, so anytime I mention mistakes by people about CCS, I kind of go crazy, hehehe. That last bits weren't really towards you, but more towards the fact that they have a policy that we shouldn't use the real pronunciation, but rather how the English version decides to write it. Jōyō kanji table edit
あの・・・ I am happy that you added to the jōyō kanji table. Yesterday I added the rōmaji column but just a few entries because I didn't know if it was OK to add that column or not, so I was waiting for someone else to add to it before continuing! しかし、 I think I have noticed a mistake, whilst just skimming through your additions!
Here is your entry:

However, shouldn't the rōmaji entry actually be narabu, nami? I check this by observing the Table of hiragana-rōmaji.
Putting that aside, however, if we establish that the rōmaji column is a useful addition to the jōyō kanji table, I was thinking of writing a program to convert the kunyomi to rōmaji automatically. I already had to do this to add the rōmaji column in the first place since adding ~2000 cells would take a long time! So I was thinking, if you could confidently add more kunyomi entries, that might be more useful, as it would give the program more entries to convert, but please take care to ensure that the additions are correct, otherwise both the kunyomi and rōmaji entries would become incorrect! I have found that if you are unsure of what the correct entry should be, you can check on Wiktionary by clicking the character in the shinjitai column and checking the Japanese kun reading.

- Yes, you are right ^_^. I'm not sure how I made that mistake though :(. Please don't always assume though, your comments "but please take care to ensure that the additions are correct" and "I have found that if you are unsure of what the correct entry should be" came off as a jab on my mistake. I know you meant well and am glad you brought it up ^_^. It just offended me because for every kun-yomi I did use the correct romanji for, the 2 hiragana I somehow made the mistake on were in a few of them, and therefore showed that it was due to something other than just being unsure. --AjaaniSherisu

I just thought I'd let you know upon noticing your changes to the section of Yue's page entitled "Yue's 'True Heart'" that I am undoing your revisions. I think you are confused as to the format being used in this section of the article, and I wanted to make sure that I clear things up for you.
We are aware that said article is not a talk page, and it is not made to resemble one. The "controversy" sections under each character's name is a way of organizing critical points about each of the pairings to better aid the overall flow of the article. By creating these separate sections we can discuss the main argument for a pairing, and then to separately note some inconsistencies in the series that might cause some controversy. This format is one that was developed after much deliberation between several users as the best way to present all the information in a way that best prevents confusing a reader looking ot this page for straightforward information. If you would like to list any complaints about the chosen format, I suggest you take it up with the other users on the talk page where we would welcome your input. 3loodlust (talk) 01:46, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- The reason I stated it looked like it was being treated as a talk page was that information against the idea was worded as if they were talking to the person who wrote the info rather than actually being a part of the article.
