Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of toys. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Learning through play. Hello, thank you for taking the time to explain things. I would like to bring to your attention that the Draft: Krithika Nelson article was also created by me. It has come to my attention that another user had deleted some of the references I had cited for verifiability. I am working on restoring the original information. You will find that the article has better sources to back the information mentioned once done. Hope you can consider my contesting this request for speedy deletion and help me out in this regard. The speedy deletion nomination was invalid, and has been declined, as the given speedy deletion criterion is for duplication of existing articles, not drafts. However, it looks as though you may be editing contrary to the conflict of interest guideline and other requirements, as described in a message above, dated 19 July. Hello there. I do not have a direct (or personal) connection per se with Krithika Nelson. I witnessed her speak + sing at an event about a year ago and have since been following her work. My intention to create a Wikipedia article comes purely from a place of admiration for her talent that I was witness to and respect for her as an artist. Hope that clarifies things. Thanks for answering. Yes, it does clarify things. When a very large part of an editor's work is related to one person, particularly an entertainer, it is always likely that people will wonder if there's a personal connection, but obviously there doesn't have to be, and I am perfectly happy to accept your explanation. I have actually done something similar myself, once, years ago, when I saw and heard someone at an event. I found her interesting and tried to find more about her on Wikipedia, but found there wasn't anything, so I created an article about her. JBW (talk) 14:50, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
