Edits in Progress

People: you have to let me finish editing a page before you start complaining about lack of tags and such. It's been happening way too often that I'm right in the middle of editing a page and it's already being marked as unreferenced or some other issue. I have to save my work frequently because I've been burned a couple of times when my browser quit for no reason. You need to check the page history before you say or do anything - it's usually pretty obvious that something's being worked on right then when you look at the dates and times. If there's any question, you should contact me first or leave a message on my talk page. Aeh4543 06:49, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

References

edit

Information on the communities in Baraga County has its roots in two books (which I have in my possession), as mentioned in the reference sections, but the writing is all mine - therefore, I will not use inline references after every paragraph because it is unnecessary. A note in the reference section is sufficient according to AP and Chicago styles.Aeh4543 06:54, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Usafexpeditionarycenter.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Usafexpeditionarycenter.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:Usafexpeditionarycenter.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File:Andersenphoto.jpg missing description details

edit
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Andersenphoto.jpg is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:02, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
