Welcome to Novels WikiProject edit
Hi, and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books often referred to as "Novels".
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WikiProject_Novels_announcements}} there.
While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox {{User WikiProject Novels}}. - The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but other methods are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines / template outlines some things to include.

Template on the Enlightenment edit
Sure go ahead, add what you want mate. Add as much as possible. I would try to make the template better myself, and try to clean it up, add a few more additions of it myself, but school work is being quite the thorn in my side (be glad you never wasted your life with Applied IT).

Your comment on my comment edit
I would like to notice humbly, that I stated facts. But your personal opinion on my comment is a personal attack, since it presents not facts, but your personal understanding on what's going on as it comes from a man who knows nothing about my dispute and history of realtions with user Ilgiz. Moreover, perhaps you should look at Evgeniya Albats article to see what user Ilgiz is doing covering it by Wikipedia policies. Would you mind not editing my comments? If you consider it as a personal attack, then compare it with what Ilgiz himself is writing about my edits in Albats article, for example. If you decide to label thing A a personal attack, perhaps you should label thing B, which is far more strong, a personal attack too? I just compare what my supervisor required of me in citing sources in my thesis, with what these KGB-obsessed guys write about Russia and have my hairs on legs stand. Hello, AVlosad. In March 2007 you took part in discussion over the topic and provided an English translation of "counter-arguments" to the FSB theory. Unfortunately I didn't read the discussion enough carefully, that's why I provided my own English piece on that based on the Russian text, before learning about your translation. 19th-century novels task force edit

I am Olivier Blanc living in Paris, the biographer of Olympe de Gouges (my book published in 1981, was published anothe r time in 1989, and the new version with many new informations coming from my researches in 2003 (Editions rené Viénet)..sorry because being french i do not write very well english, but i hope that you can understand me...Why did you suppress my contribution (yesterday) ? i wanted to add corrections because of some mistakes (Olympe de Gouges, for example was bornt on may 1748, the 7th), and add new informations about olympe de Gouges's family..which could have interested ... If you can read french you could have a look to my contributions and about myself "Olivier Blanc" ... A new Oxbridge user box edit
AVIosad...I am currently in the process of writing a user box for all of the colleges that are part of Oxbridge. This template is meant to replace your current college template. Please take a look at the work in progress and comment on it. My main concerns are college abbreviations and color choice. I am using scarf colors for the colleges. WikiProject Novels - 1st Coordinators Election edit
An election has been proposed and has been set up for this project. Description of the roles etc., can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Coordinators. WikiProject Novels is currently holding a roll call, which we hope to have annually. Your username is listed on the members list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active within the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:Novels editor, please add your name back to the Active Members list. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite edit
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Orphaned non-free image File:Nestofthegentrycover.jpg edit
Thanks for uploading File:Nestofthegentrycover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
