The Outreach Department of the Novels WikiProject is a centralized workarea for project recruitment and member interaction efforts. The major programs currently active are a monthly project newsletter and a welcoming message for new members of the project; additional ideas are always welcome, of course!

NB: All credit for the idea and some of the code should go to the WP:MILHIST WikiProject team.

NewsletterEdit

The Newsletter is currently active. However help is needed, so if any editor would like to help in producing it again, feel free to sign your name below, and leave a message at WT:NOVELS and WT:NVCOORD so that we can assist you.

From the Outreach Department
  • Hello all. As you're probably aware this is the first newsletter since August. I had hoped that although I was unable to write one for the ensuing months, somebody would have picked it up, but that was sadly not to be. However I am back, and that should hopefully mean a new newsletter every month, like it used to be. There has been a lot of work done on novel related articles in my absence, however the project does not appeared to have progressed very much, which I'm sure you would all agree, is a shame as it holds such promise for Wikipedia. But with the new elections approaching, I am hoping that things will turn around, so I urge you all to get involved with the project in whatever way you can, and help it achieve its full potential.
