Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Christopher Fairbank, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 06:54, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Coronation Concert, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please familiarise yourself with WP:NOPIPE, MOS:NOPIPE and WP:NOTBROKEN.   Hello, I'm Shadow311. I noticed that you recently removed content from Troy Lesesne without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi 94.15.59.244, Sorry I reverted your edits today. The mistake was mine. Samf4u (talk) 16:12, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 16:18, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Academy Award Best Film Editing

edit

Are you looking for the movie name? because the template is for Film editing it holds the name of the person who won the award for editing. Please go back and revert all those changes. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:35, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

No longer has name of film in navbox not the person. So no need on film page. 94.15.59.244 (talk) 22:53, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi,

Please note that the Wikipedia Manual of Style generally discourages the unnecessary use of "piped" links of the sort you've been adding to multiple articles, for example this edit at "NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture". Please read the advice given at WP:NOPIPE, MOS:NOPIPE, and WP:NOTBROKEN.

Just for clarity, let me quote a very brief excerpt from WP:NOPIPE:

 N Mozart

 Y Mozart

So:

 N Aunjanue Ellis

 Y Aunjanue Ellis

Best wishes, Jean-de-Nivelle (talk) 09:38, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
