The Backyardigans

edit

Hi, thanks for your reordering edit on The Backyardigans. It looks like your ordering was correct so I restored it after a short discussion on the talk page. If I can make one suggestion: it might help your edits get accepted more often if you add an edit description when you save an edit. Creating an account and making edits with that account can also help. Thank you. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 00:56, 6 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit to Tweenies

edit

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your recent change to Tweenies which changed the British spelling of some words to the American spelling. Wikipedia, as a rule, does not favor one national variety of English over another, as long as an article is consistent within itself (and ideally, with the subject matter if it pertains more to one country than another. The subject matter of this article is British, so using British spellings of words there is perfectly fine. See MOS:ENGVAR for more info on this policy. Thanks — Garrett W. { } 02:14, 6 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

So, why did you reapeat the edit, when it has been explained to you what was wrong with it? "Favourite colour" is perfectly correct spelling to use in this article. Phil Bridger (talk) 16:26, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tweenies. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. One more time and I will report you to the admins.Garrett W. { } 00:23, 16 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
