Welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm Walter Görlitz, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
editHello, I'm WikiHannibal. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Terminator (franchise), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
- I had to revert your edit (diff), even though some of your changes were for the better. It is sometimes more helpful to make several smaller edits, and please make sure you explain (the reason for) your changes in the edit summary. Some general remarks: 1) It is pointless to add an unsourced sentence and add a citation needed tag. Either add the sentence with a source, or do not add it at all (see WP:VER). 2) Do not remove sourced info (such as that by Higashi Masao) without an explanation. 3) Do not replace a reference with a citation needed tag. If you checked that very reference and did not find such info there, add a [failed verification] tag. Thanks, WikiHannibal (talk) 07:43, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
