Halo additions edit

Hello! I notice you've been adding a lot of Halo-related content. Wikipedia is a general-purpose encyclopedia, and writes about fictional topics from a spare and out-of-universe perspective wherever possible. In addition, content that can't be directly and clearly cited to a primary source in the article (for example, the plot section of a video game article) needs to be cited to reliable sources.

I'm afraid many of your additions fall into unnecessary detail for Wikipedia; minute details that aren't important to grasping the general subject are better of on Halopedia, where the same inclusion standards are not in effect and extra detail is often welcomed!

February 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Tdts5. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Characters of Halo seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tdts5 (talk) 18:53, 5 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Citing edit

I noticed in your edit summary you mentioned you don't know how to cite. Please see WP:EASYREFBEGIN to learn how. Otherwise, unfortunately, your edits, especially on pages of living people, will inevitably be reverted. Feel free to hit me up if you need help. April 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Bailo26. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Terry Williams (condemned prisoner), but you didn't provide a reliable source. if you'd like to include a citation, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. I haven't reverted at this time as the material is good. Please add sources. Taking into account WP:AGF and perhaps the users lack of familiarity with WP. Will monitor and revert if not updated soon. Bailo26 04:22, 27 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I left your edits for 1 hour but i've had to remove them now as you didn't add any sources as required by WP:BLP. You can still find them in the history tab and can re-add them when you include citations. Thanks.Bailo26 05:17, 27 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Stargate: Continuum plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 23:47, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm HickoryOughtShirt?4. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. What content??? I'm not sure what you're talking about since you didn't specify which page it is.(@HickoryOughtShirt?4:)--32.214.191.156 (talk) 22:02, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
If you mean removing the Kent Parson information on the Check Please! page its because I moved it to a new section I created further down. Hence why it was removed from the section about Friends and Family. Which by the way, I wrote originally.(@HickoryOughtShirt?4:)--32.214.191.156 (talk) 22:06, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

February 2021 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Snowpiercer (TV series). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted. Per MOS:TVCAST , we go by according to credits. Sean Bean is only credited as Mr. Wilford and that is his common name. The reliable sources only credited him as Mr. Wilford only as well. Mentioned of first name here and there isn't go to cut on the display for the name, but can go on the character description instead.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — YoungForever(talk) 03:41, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
