January 2022 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ezequiel Ataucusi Gamonal has been reverted.
Your edit here to Ezequiel Ataucusi Gamonal was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qke14BPw51c) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Colonna edit

Thanks for correcting the date, I was very tired, at least I got the category date of birth right. At least it's not as bad as when I've ordered train tickets on the wrong day through being tired Unknown Temptation (talk) 17:19, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Haha glad to. Thanks for making the article in the first place. 24.44.73.34 (talk) 18:28, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Blocked on desktop Wikipedia on phone edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

24.44.73.34 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

So I can edit just fine on mobile view when using phone but I get this message when using desktop mode on the phone "The IP address or range ‪2600:387:A:9A2:0:0:0:0/64‬ has been blocked (disabled) by ‪Graham87‬ for the following reason(s):To edit, please log in.... " (Just putting a portion because it's quite long) Anyway I'm confused by this, I can understand the range ban if there's some kind of problem but what's going on with my IP seems unintentional since I can bypass it. I haven't checked if this block affects my computer aswell. Anyway I use desktop mode on my phone sometimes as it's easier for me to read, so this is kinda inconvenient. But I can understand if an unblock is not permitted but I'd appreciate one if possible. Thanks and have a nice day.

Decline reason:

Once you disable (or switch away from) your proxy/vpn, you need to wait a full 24 hours for the block to clear. Yamla (talk) 18:56, 14 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Makes sense thank you! 24.44.73.34 (talk) 12:11, 15 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I probably could have explained the rv better: “pregnant patient” is simply more accurate because trans people who are not women can get pregnant as well; however your point about sourcing may be legitimate per WP:SYNTH Dronebogus (talk) 06:14, 7 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ukrainian Amish edit

Hi, I'm user Dan H0lsinger who wrote a lot about the Amish and other Anabaptists. I can write here only when using an IP right now. I saw that you added the Ukrainian Amish. Do you have any idea if these Ukrainian people have contact with the American Amish? How isolated are they? So much that they may not know of the American Amish? Best wishes! D. Holsinger. 176.199.208.188 (talk) 19:14, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for the interest. From what I know they seem to have arose from Ukrainians who converted to Pentecostalism who then developed into the present movement by Ivan Derkach in 1950, without contact with the Amish/Anabaptists. "Ukrainian Amish" is a colloquial term given to them by outside observers who compare their lifestyle to the Amish. I don't think they have any contact with American Amish, but I don't know. I recommend looking at the references on their page on Ukrainian wiki and this [1]webpage with alot of terms relating to the sect to try to find more info if you want. I was able to find some articles last year, but unfortunately I'm not fluent in either Ukrainian or Russian, so alot of dead ends/confusion. I hope you can find what you're looking for. Have a good day! 24.44.73.34 (talk) 01:18, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
