editDo not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did at Hugh McDonald (American musician). Such attempts to avoid detection or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Long-term abuse from Kent IPs, block evasion by Special:Contributions/86.144.111.198 and Special:Contributions/86.161.225.64. Binksternet (talk) 13:49, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
Alphabetizing
editIf you're the same person who's been de-alphabetizing R.E.M. articles for the past two years or so... why? It's a waste of time and I'll just always revert it. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 17:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm Walter Görlitz, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's private and secure and it's also free, simple, and quick to do.

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}}

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this (this IP's talk) page, and a timestamp.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
Sincerely, Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:11, 3 May 2018 (UTC) (Leave me a message)

- @Binksternet: and @Koavf: Looking at this anon's contributions—many small, unexplained changes that violate WP:V, MOS:LINKING and other guidelines and manuals of style—I have to agree with your comments above. Would one of you like to take this long-term offender to ANI or should I? Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:20, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking him to ANI while I was busy offline. Binksternet (talk) 18:50, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Walter Gorlitz: Thanks. If anyone needs, I can trawl thru a bunch of old talk page edits across multiple IPs saying the same thing. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 00:24, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
