Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (115.188.5.125) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! Hey there! I believe Fusininae can be its own article or it should be redirected to the family article Fasciolariidae as it does contain information there.Calaka (talk) 09:55, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Template:Colorado Rockies roster, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 14:33, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Overwriting articles

edit

Do not ever overwrite a valid article with a different one. Your action constitutes a form of vandalism. If you have a different entry for the same name you must create a new article with a qualifier. If you want to create articles then you need to register. In this case I have copied your text to a new article qualified as (cricketer) but please respect existing articles in future. Motmit (talk) 20:23, 2 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at John Blackmore, you may be blocked from editing. You have been warned before about overwriting articles. Drmies (talk) 05:16, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Dean Davies, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. My76Strat (talk) 08:00, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Creating an account

edit

If you continue creating articles about cricket players or national basketball teams, I strongly recommend that you create an account so that you can place the article into the article space. That way you can be assured that the article will remain instead of being deleted as an orphaned talk page as has happened to a few of your attempts at writing an article.

If for some reason you don't want to create an article, I would then recommend that instead of letting the new article exist at the whim of whomever stumbles upon it, that you request that it be moved into the article space for you. You can do that by making a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:38, 26 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Erich Segal. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hertz1888 (talk) 03:51, 20 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Erich Segal. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hertz1888 (talk) 09:54, 20 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
