Categories

Hello, 112.200.9.88,

It takes more than slapping a CFD tag on to a category to have any action taken. You must file a nomination at Categories for Discussion proposing an action (deletion, renaming, merger) along with your rationale as to why this should occur. You must also post a notification on the talk page of the category creator. Most editors use tools like Twinkle to nominate and tag pages for further action. But the bottom line is if you don't know what you are doing, please don't make it up as you go along. Requested moves

Hello,

In response to the batch of Requested Moves on dams you've filed: First of all, you're supposed to replace "Please place your rationale for the proposed move here" with a rationale. Second, these moves all seem linked. You should not open separate RMs for each of them, but rather create a single batched nomination of all of them, since the issues at play are similar. I've reverted these for now; feel free to propose it again, but only as either a single test case, or as a batched version of all, as the answer won't greatly change from country-to-country. (And only make such a proposal if you're going to explain a rationale.) SnowFire (talk) 02:10, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

I haven't reverted your other RMs, but you should absolutely explain yourself on them and edit in an explanation.
