Your edit on Dnieper edit

Hello. Your edit has been reverted since this is the English language Wikipedia, using the spelling that is in common use in English language media. And Ukrainian law has no influence on how we spell things, since Ukrainian law only applies in Ukraine, nowhere else. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 13:30, 26 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Dear Thomas.W, 1. I have removed your message regarding my edits of my article of occupied territories and explained reason on your talk page. Before blaming editors 3 times in 10 minutes period (in separate entries on my talk page, oh my god) without obvious reason, please check edits they make. My article has two tables. I optomised them in other software and thats why tables character size is - 70 000 compared to original. However content is THE SAME before and after my edit. I changed position of tables (table1+table2 changed to table2+table1) and for system it looks like removal of information. Thank you. 2. There is no reason for article speedy deletion as it does not violates Wiki policies and exists in a same way as article with similar content called Occupied territories of Georgia. What is more my article was reviewed by several experienced users in the past (see in editing history) and they did not mentioned that there is something rong with it. Thanks. 3. Anyway I agree about your remarks about my bad editing Dnieper. Жовтневе багаття

December 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to List of active separatist movements in Europe, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 06:56, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Hello Jim1138. I have undone your reverts. Here is a reason why: you mentioned that I did not indicate passage deletion reason. Please check that article edit log and you will see a reason with reference:

Thanks. If you have questions, please write them to me. Жовтневе багаття

A tag has been placed on Temporarily occupied and uncontrolled territories of Ukraine (2014-present), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
