On Wikipedia edit

My main priority here is rewriting the Buffyverse pages to conform with our policies on writing about fiction. My goal is to improve the character pages and move the in-universe stuff to Wikia where it belongs. My Wiki-pals include Bignole and Zythe, whose respective work on Jason Voorhees and Jack Harkness I admire.

My real life ain't all that interesting; I work as an assistant in a supermarket and am pretty much a slacker. That's why I like escaping into fictional universes, especially those revolving around science fiction and fantasy. In other words, I'm a shameless geek.

"They are real. It's all real. Think about it. Haven't Luke Skywalker and Santa Claus affected your lives more than most real people in this room? I mean, whether Jesus is real or not, he... he's had a bigger impact on the world than any of us have. And the same could be said of Bugs Bunny and, a-and Superman and Harry Potter. They've changed my life, changed the way I act on the Earth. Doesn't that make them kind of "real"? They might be imaginary, but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around long after we're dead. So in a way, those things are more realer than any of us."

I'm fascinated with fictional characters, and here are some of my favourites...

  • Buffy Summers — One of the greatest fictional characters ever, Buffy is a wonderfully complex and truly influential heroine.
  • The Tenth Doctor — Inspirational and noble hero, I prefer his tenth incarnation for his sense of humour and good looks!
  • The Shape — Abstract force of pure evil and the greatest slasher of all time.
  • She-Hulk — Fun tongue-in-cheek superheroine who represents the Marvel Universe better than Cap or Spidey ever could.
  • Cyclops — Often overlooked superhero with a fascinating inferiority complex and damn cool costume!
  • Bree Van de Kamp — Strong and morally complex woman with hilarious psychological issues.
  • Eric Cartman — Truly despicable anti-hero and comedy legend.
  • Woody — Has more depth than your average Disney hero, I appreciated his sarcasm and jealousy even as a child.
  • Link — Definitive video game character, a young boy who transforms into the Hero of Time.

Honourable mentions go to Emma Frost, Jamie Madrox, Gertrude Yorkes, Donna Noble, Kyle Reese, Laurie Strode, Jason Voorhees, Nancy Thompson, Elle Woods, Johnny 5, Roger, and of course everyone on Buffy.
