The 2008 Texas Longhorns baseball team represented the Texas Longhorns baseball program for the University of Texas in the 2008 NCAA Division I baseball season. Augie Garrido coached the team in his 12th season at Texas.[2]

Texas finished the regular season in 5th place in the Big 12. They would go on to win the 2008 Big 12 Conference Baseball Tournament with a perfect 4–0 record, defeating Kansas State 15–7 in the final. Texas was selected as a 2 seed for the 2008 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and would go to the Houston Regional, hosted by Rice. Texas would go 2–2, losing to Rice in the Regional Finals 7–4.
