About MeeditBackgroundeditI have been in New Jersey my entire life. I was born a little North of where I currently live and spent the first few years before moving to my current address a little further North. I have lived in my current town as long as I can remember going through their public school system and graduating in the top 1%. I have always done well on test which is probably why I graduated so high but my SAT score was also decent, a good thing since they changed the format on me. Since graduating I have been concentrating fully on school and so have not had a job, but this will hopefully change in the near future. Present and FutureeditI currently attend NJIT as a Chemistry major going for a Bachelor of Science, though I am also trying to get a History minor and a teaching certificate. As for my future, I am not sure what I want to do though I would like to keep learning as long as possible, I would love to attain a Doctorate if I can stay in school long enough. I would also love to study abroad, though I am not sure if this option is still available, since I am already behind because I added the teaching certificate too late. I would like to try working in a lab one day, though I am not sure I would every be able to do very well since, while being very meticulous, never seem to do well in the lab courses. I would also like to try out teaching and am going to start with High School and see how much I like being in front of an audience that size, I am not much for being in front of people so I am not sure how this will work out. Though I am hoping one day to try my hand in front of a college class, though I know that is an extremely long road. My stance about WikipediaeditI realize many people have had a falling out with Wikipedia on various decisions, particularly over the last year and I feel like commenting on some of these issues. The one involves a Minister of Canada, I forget who it is now, had a person/some people edit his Wikipedia page to remove controversial material he was purposing. In my opinion, Wikipedia or its administration, if having a strong enough feeling, should have issued warnings/bans for breaking the neutral point of view rule after protecting the page. Not much can be said about it now, though this is how I feel it should have been and in the future should be handled. Another major problem I have seen people have is with the fact Wikipedia is planning a printed version to sell. My opinion is the information is provided on the internet for free with free updates so if people want to spend money on it, which I do not see why, let them. My only problem is that credit should be given to people who have contributed greatly to the article, whatever the qualification to be given credit for a featured article should be the same and at the end of the article a list should be provided with all contributors - a little credit to the people who wrote the book for Wikipedia to print. EntertainmenteditThis is a list of thing I do when not contributing to Wikipedia, which I hope to improve so one day it may be a reliable source of information that can even be quoted from in college. Video GameseditThis could be a very long section, and maybe one day I will write everything I have played. But until then I will keep it to a minimum so my page does not become as cluttered as it had been. On the computer I am currently playing Guild Wars, Shaiya and Ragnarok Online. I have been waiting for years for Spore to be released. Other games I have on my to try out list include Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed. I have both the Playstation and Playstation 2, do not have but may someday get the Playstation 3 - though only the backwards compatible version interests me. As for other game systems, I have a Nintendo Game Boy which I do not use too much any more, never liked how many batteries it ran through and when they kept coming out with newer handheld systems I gave up on them. I do have a Sega Genesis and Atari which do not get used often Television ShowseditWill get to this, just not yet. AnimeeditWill get to this, just not yet. MovieseditWill get to this, just not yet. BookseditWill get to this, just not yet. Other InterestseditIt turns out I like to travel overseas, but I doubt I will be doing much more of that in the near future. I like coins and stamps. I play Magic but not much else in terms of cards, which is a surprise since I like to collect so much. Another item which I spend quite a few hours a week on are crosswords puzzles, both in the newspaper and online. TravelseditWhere I have livededitList of counties I have been in for a period of time, does not include counties driven through. Where I have visited outside the USeditSportseditWhile I do not play any now, with the exception of a video game version every now and again, I did play high school football and still play a game of chess, though nothing spectacular. Pro SportseditI have watched baseball and football most of my life. I picked up hockey when the local pro team went to the playoffs in the mid-90's and soccer when Germany hosted the World Cup. I do not watch most sports on a regular basis, they take to long and I usually do not have the chance to watch, though I tend to make room for the post-season, even if my team is not there, it is fun to watch - especially since it pits the best teams against one another and can be much more entertaining then watching real bad teams play, though that has its highlights. As for teams, Football I have always liked the New York Giants in the National League and the Miami Dolphins in the American League while baseball has always been the New York Mets. I never really picked an AL team in baseball though I do like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays if I were to choose, I have been kind of following them for more then 10 years and they are the only team I have actually seen - I watch them play the Florida Marlins the year the Marlins won the World Series. I did not pick up hockey until the New Jersey Devils went to the Stanley Cup in 1995 and have been following hockey since. As for the other big sports in America, I do not watch either Basketball or Nascar since neither really appeal to me. Soccer - the world's sport - has only been an interest of mine for a few years now and most because Germany hosted it. I have taken in interest in the Germany, not really noting their qualifiers which I never find, but have watched their last two major events - World Cup 2006 and Euro Cup 2008. As far as pro teams are concerned I do not really keep up with any league though I would probably pick FC Bayern Munich because I was in Munich when they won the Bundesliga in 2008.
