President Trump also spoke at length on the World Health Organization, saying that he has directed his administration to halt funding while they investigate the organization “to assess the World Health Organization’s role in severely mismanaging and covering-up the spread of the coronavirus.” While discussing reopening the economy, the president said he will be speaking with all 50 governors, “authorizing each individual governor of each individual state to implement a reopening…of their state in a time and of a manner that’s most appropriate” later saying that the federal government will be watching, and that they “will hold the governors accountable.”
