Document edit

Please add documentation to the template. --Pinkkeith (talk) 17:02, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could someone please add this code:

<noinclude>
documentation
</noinclude>

thanks! --Pinkkeith (talk) 16:25, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Addition of C-class edit

editprotected Code needs to be added so the banner recognizes C-class rated articles. Also, is it really neccessary to full protect this template? I would think that autoconfirm would be enough and many other high profile wikiprojects do not use full-protection or any at all. Thanks.--Finalnight (talk) 18:05, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

When you have the necessary code, re-activate the editprotected request. And, this template has over 5,000 transclusions, so full protection is not really optional. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:03, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

editprotected

|C=
goes under
|B=

Updated Template edit

Editprotected Does anyone have any objections to the template being updated to the version currently in the sandbox? -- WOSlinker (talk) 17:33, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just a question "to improve the coverage of National Football League", is that missing a "the" before "National"? — CHANDLER#10 — 17:58, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I changed the text of the sandbox verision to be the same as the text that is currently being used. --Pinkkeith (talk) 16:03, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The sandbox version doesn't use full quality scale. Given that there are 398 categories and 720 templates, this should probably be implemented? Martin 10:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

You could bring that up with the Wikiproject, but I don't think there will be much interest. --Pinkkeith (talk) 15:35, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Good spot. I hadn't included the Full Quality Scale as I was trying to keep it similar to which uses the same categories. I've added that option now. -- WOSlinker (talk) 19:15, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
  Done. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 08:36, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Add to edit

Can some admin please add this Project banner to so that the Article Alertbot will function? Thanks!--Deejayk (talk) 03:57, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

There is no need according to Wikipedia:Article alerts/Subscribing#Subscribing for a project as the banner is already in Category:WikiProject banners with quality assessment. -- WOSlinker (talk) 07:42, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think what is needed is for the banner to be renamed to Template:WikiProject National Football League, as mentioned on Wikipedia:WikiProject National Football League/Article alerts, the banner could not be found at Template:WikiProject National Football League. -- WOSlinker (talk) 07:45, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't believe there is any need to change the banner name — instead I've updated the Article Alerts subscription tag to reference the correct name. If you are correct about the category issue, then we should be all set once the bot gets around to looking at this project again. -- Deejayk (talk) 15:39, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit Req edit

editprotected Could template be changed to use {{pagetype|{}}} & new QUALITY_SCALE settings as per the National Football League/sandbox&diff=314998033&oldid=314997937 edits in the sandbox. Thanks -- WOSlinker (talk) 23:14, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

...with...

Book-class articles edit

Does anyone know why Book class articles, like Book:New York Jets, don't show up as "Book-Class articles", but rather "NA-Class articles"? Does anyone know how to fix that? – Muboshgu (talk) 23:29, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have made a little change at the sandbox by setting to subpage with a class mask template. The banner currently uses extended on the QUALITY_SCALE. I am not an administrator myself, I will make changes for you if you want. JJ98 (Talk / Contributions) 11:34, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
That would be appreciated. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:40, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Edit request, Book-Class edit

Some changes have been made throughout the sandbox, including the attention, infobox, needs-image and unref parameters have been added along with MAIN_TEXT which is removed and replaced with the MAIN_ARTICLE and the American Football portal has been replaced by the National Football League portal, including the QUALITY_SCALE to subpage to enable the class mask template, including the Book-Class which I've also set. It is request if you could please make changes that I've made from the sandbox myself. Thanks. JJ98 (Talk / Contributions) 20:09, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Edit request regarding new subproject edit

Please make it possible for editors to add a subproject banner for Wikipedia:WikiProject National Football League/Referees subproject. For the image, please use File:Terry McAulay at Super Bowl 43.jpg (I couldn't figure out how to link to it without displaying the pic instead). Thank you. AutomaticStrikeout 04:17, 5 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've added it to the sandbox. Let me know if that's ok & I'll copy it over to the live template. -- WOSlinker (talk) 20:23, 5 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
It looks good, but there needs to be a subproject importance scale as well. AutomaticStrikeout 00:02, 12 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
