Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Hi y'all! I've just finish converting this template to be using {{Infobox}}. However, there are some significant issues with how this template is integrated into other templates (see the sandbox). As you can see on the testcases subpage, the template is broken. What is required of other templates is to put this template in a data field and for transclusions to include |child = yes. Given that this template is transcluded on 2.5k pages, what should be done? An easy way may be to set the child status as yes as the default, and alter how other templates use this template. There will be work involved to make sure this doesn't go bad.
Beside that, the only change is that the st nd and rd are not shrinked. Please let me know if there are other issues/concerns. I plan to merge this in a month if nothing is raised. SWinxy (talk) 21:05, 16 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I did some more testing and parent templates need to do more than set a parameter. afaict, other templates need to also migrate to use {{Infobox}}–there's no way around it. I'm going to have to update them to use {{infobox}}, too... SWinxy (talk) 16:50, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Pinging @Izno to see if he has any additional ideas for this. Gonnym (talk) 09:09, 15 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
No, converting all the others about sums it up if you want this one to use infobox. I am trying to make that happen separately for MediaWiki talk:Common.css/to do#Infobox anyway, so that is still positive rather than wasted effort. Izno (talk) 16:29, 15 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Extend to 20 Events instead of 10 on the template because some national teams (e.g. Brazil have 10 competitions on their medal count below infobox) so the total tally on the template is at the side instead of down below the 10 competitions. 49.228.52.221 (talk) 19:16, 11 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Done The issue wasn't with the number of medals allowed (though that deals with a more fundamental problem), but with the table separator, |-, not being present. SWinxy (talk) 23:10, 11 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
