Template talk:Infobox network service provider

Primary ASN parameter format

The articles that use this template seem to be randomly split between bare ASN and bgp.he.net/bgp.tools/cidr-report.org/peeringdb.com/etc link. It seems to me that there's no reason to vary this per-AS, and we ought to pick one, and use it everywhere. DefaultFree (talk) 01:39, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

Wikidata not being checked for references

As far as I can tell, this infobox template appears to be pulling unsourced data from Wikidata, which is not allowed per the long-standing RFC. Can someone please modify this template to use Module:WikidataIB to pull the information instead of #property? – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:33, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing this out. I noticed this RFC yesterday, and I have a draft underway at Template:Infobox network service provider/sandbox that does so. I still need to switch it over to |osd=1, verify nothing breaks, then move the changes over to the main template; I'm hoping to find the time to do so later today.
