error with addpubcat edit

Apparently, the code to add a publisher category, addpubcat, has some error where something in the code for those parts is causing it to add a | to the category code where it shows it as [[Category:something|]] and not show it as a category. I'd fix it myself, but I don't know how. Thank you. ThatDudeGuy 22:36, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should be fixed. - J Greb (talk) 01:43, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

New categorizing of "Marvel Comics objects" edit

Hello J Greb, as you saw I created some new sub-categories at category "Marvel Comics objects". I'm still not THAT familiar with the whole template-stuff, so sorry if I got something wrong. Thanks for editing the template Infobox comics elements and for re-editing the articles where I added a altcat-entry. Unfortunately I wasn't finished yet... I made a last category named "Marvel Comics magical objects". As I know there is a clear line between magic and cosmic stuff in the Marvel Universe. (Maybe some day it will be stated that "magic" is one of many "cosmic powers", but it's definitive the most prominent and most destinctive one). So before I start editing again, maybe we can create a good solution together... :-) (I don't wanted to edit the template myself, because I'm not that familiar with it and could miss something.) I don't think, the "artifact"-type could be used the same way to categorize articles because the artifact is either cosmic or magical.

Here is a list of which articles should be on what category:

Marvel Comics cosmic objects (1 C, 7 P)

Marvel Comics magical objects (14 P)

Maybe you find the time to edit the template again or to give me a short explaination, of what I have to do.

Undesireable category behavior when adding "type" parameter edit

Hello; when adding the "type" parameter to a page's infobox, the appropriate category is also added, however a "|" appears at the end of the category name, failing to add the page to the category and causing the category wikitext to be visible on the page in an undesirable way. For example, this edit causes: "[[Category:Fictional ships|]]" to be visible at the top of the page. And this edit causes: "[[Category:Fictional aircraft|]][[Category:Fictional technology|]]" to be visible at the top of the page. In these examples you can see the undesirable category behavior (view the edit then see the top of the page). Can someone please look into this and reply back here? Thanks very much.
