What is Riverside Junction?
editRiverside train station was at the junction of the Highland Branch and the Main Line. Riverside (MBTA) Green Line Station was built on what was a train yard in 1959. CommanderMcBragg (talk) 06:56, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
- @CommanderMcBragg: Riverside Junction appears to have been the name of the junction of the Highland Branch with the B&A main line. It's named in Manual of the Railroads of the United States (1894), giving the distance from Riverside Junction to Newton Lower Falls. See also this Sanborn map.
