National colours of Canada

edit

  • . Nice article. Length, date and hook reference check out. No copy vio. Good to go. But please do the QPQ--Nvvchar. 10:56, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Pulled from prep because Mindmatrix pointed out that he still owes a QPQ. --Orlady (talk) 15:23, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I've now completed the QPQ review. Mindmatrix 21:40, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that the Toronto Blue Jays wear an alternate jersey in the national colours of Canada on Canada Day?
ALT2: ... that red and white became the national colours of Canada with the proclamation of the Arms of Canada by King George V in 1921?
  • ALT hooks need reviewing, or (now that QPQ is supplied) the original hook can be promoted per approval by Nvvchar. (Note: a tick should never be given before the QPQ is completed.) BlueMoonset (talk) 22:02, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I think ALT1 is the best of all; it will appeal to a broader audience, especially American sports fans. Article is new enough, long enough, well-referenced, no close paraphrasing seen in sources. QPQ done. ALT1 hook ref verified. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 21:04, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
