Construction date edit

Regrding to the construction date, the castle was built in the 4th century (301-400) by the Eastern Roman Empire. But the East Roman Empire emerged as late as 395. Thus I think the castle must be a Roman Castle rather than an Eastern Roman Castle. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 12:36, 29 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Isn't 395 in the 4th century? Besides the foundation of the Eastern Roman Empire goes back to 285. Please recheck.CeeGee 12:45, 29 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Was the castle built between 395 and 400. Possible but highly improbable. As for 285, no, this date was not the emergence of the East Roman Empire. East and (west for that matter) emerged after the empire was divided into two in 395. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 15:27, 29 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Improve what? If you see something is wrong, do not hesitate to notice. However, please cite sources so the fact can be reinstated. Thanks. CeeGee 11:28, 30 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
