Game Engine edit

Does anyone know the name of the game engine (i.e., middleware) used in the development of Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure? Is it third-party or in-house? Aeonassoc 15:47, 9 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm preatty sure it was a ground-up engine. 72.196.135.143 05:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

European Release Date? edit

Someone's changed it to November 7th.. but the press release says DECEMBER 7th... which is correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.104.249.111 (talk) 19:41, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gameplay? edit

What happened to all of the in-game related parts of the article?--86.89.69.209 17:11, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reception edit

Are those the only reviews we ave? i think Game Informer gave it a 8.25 out of 10. And are there any other scores this game has recieved that we can put up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.206.69.42 (talk) 11:32, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Story edit

Is there any chance we could get a section with a brief summery of the games story? this would extend the articles length, and add quite a bit of content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.108.209.200 (talk) 00:46, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can We have a storyline section that doesn't SUCK? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.35.74.162 (talk) 22:39, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

How's that?--CyricZ (talk) 19:38, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I happen to like pie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 221.132.115.2 (talk) 13:04, 25 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

(Spoilers ahoy) I think it's worth noting that Wiki's monologue at the end of the game is similar to the one at the start of the game, and he describes the chest-opening as his meeting Zack - indicating that he has once again lost memory of saving everyone from Barbaros. Since Barbaros is still alive (and promises revenge), this may be cyclical - Barbaros was mystified that Wiki didn't remember him when you encounter him in the game, since Wiki had been the one to curse him the first(?) time. --24.159.228.100 (talk) 08:20, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

picture edit

can we get a picture of the actual game box besides a stupid promo pic? i would do this if i knew how but i am new to this! 68.115.104.27 (talk) 22:31, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't know of any freely-available pictures of the box, but the promo picture essentially is the box art.GanonSocratic 00:14, 28 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by GanonSocratic (talkcontribs)

the box art is very different from the promotional picture. here's a picture of the box art if someone wants to change it (i don't know how to) http://cache.kotaku.com/assets/resources/2007/09/z_w_wii_pkf_090707.jpg 33LB (talk) 13:05, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Update sales? edit

as of Jan 5th, 2008, the game has sold 110,000 units. Source: http://vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=12367

Should we put this in? Or wait till the EU / AU releases? Lucothefish (talk) 13:21, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Some editors are reluctant to use VGChartz figures, believing them unreliable. Geoff B (talk) 14:52, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Famitsu score edit

I finally found the game's Famitsu score only, but it's at IGN's Insider, which requires member access. Apparently, the game received a 9, 9, 8, 7 (or 33/40), but I can't access to this page. Does anyone else have access or another source for this score, like the actual magazine issue number and page number? It would be good to have in the Reception section for a more worldwide reception of the game. ~ Hibana 00:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reviews added then removed edit

I added information from the reviews of the Wiiviewer and Storm Dain, but they were taken down shortly after. I had all the references correct and everything was spelled correctly. Why were they taken down? I can maybe understand Storm being removed, but the Wiiviewer is a viable resource. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.21.222.108 (talk) 16:58, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

YouTube is not a reliable source. If both of those reviewers are just YouTube users, I doubt they're notable enough to appear on Wikipedia, hundreds, if not thousands of people do that. Geoff B (talk) 17:46, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wiiviewer has 18,571 suscribers and the Zack and Wiki review has 39,629 views. He's got numerous most viewed and most discussed honors by YouTube. It's not like he's a 12 year old kid with a video camera; he's a pro at doing reviews. http://www.youtube.com/user/wiiviewr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXMYS3C3hNY —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.21.222.108 (talk) 21:54, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
