most famous woman in china?
editI am Chinese, and i never even heard of this woman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.231.14.31 (talk) 07:10, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- Probably because she isn't technically Chinese - she's an American citizen and has lived in America most of her life. She is however, very much involved in Chinese-US cultural relations and is certainly not ashamed of her background like so many are, but unless you are a foreign-born Chinese like myself (although I am from Ireland originally, not the US) or involved in or interested in her line of work, then it's unlikely you would be familiar with her. People magazine talks a lot of rubbish anyway.--Shannon Dal (talk) 15:14, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
