Chart Sort Behavior

edit

The chart sort behavior needs to be modified by someone who knows what they are doing so that when the chart listings are sorted, rankings in the 10s are not sorted above rankings higher than that (2, for example). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.5.88.128 (talk) 07:03, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Composed by Michael Jackson?

edit

All music says that You rock my world wasn't composed solely by Michael Jackson but by a number of people including the Jerking brothers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.11.231.212 (talk) 16:48, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA Review

edit

This article states that "You Rock My World" peaked at #1 in the U.S. This is not true. According to Bilboard.com, it peaked at #10: http://www.billboard.com/artist/michael-jackson/chart-history/4902#/song/michael-jackson/you-rock-my-world/3633429. Would someone who is able to edit this page please fix this error?71.3.239.222 (talk) 19:36, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Overall this is a good article, though I do have a few concerns:

  • "In the song reviews from Allmusic, reviewer Andrew Hamilton stated that, "If anybody other than Michael Jackson had released 'You Rock My World..." A bit confusing, maybe say "Reviewer Andrew Hamilton of Allmusic.."

  • "The reviewer commented that.." Name the specific one, which I presume is Hamilton.

  • "and remained within the top 100 positions for fifteen consecutive weeks from 2001 to 2002." Using dates here rather than years would work better.

  • ""You Rock My World" debuted on the Finnish Singles Chart on the 40th first week of 2001, at its peak position, number two; after three weeks, the song fell off the charts." Huh? Split the After the three weeks into its own sentence, and reword the first half of the sentence. Not sure what is meant here.

  • "Jackson only performed "You Rock My World" once. The first and only performance of "You Rock My World" was during a concert in early September 2001," The lead says he performed it twice; which is right?

  • I don't see how File:You Rock My World Music Videp.jpg is acceptable under fair use guidelines. The illustration of the music video isn't mandatory for the reader's understanding (which I can vouch for seeing as how I just read it).

I'll put the article on hold for a few days and pass when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 18:13, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Everything looks good now, so I'll pass this article as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 22:20, 14 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
