factual error? edit
actually, it is the lack of a white stripe which is distinctive. please see the (now redundant) page i created in wikipedia a few days ago (and references therein):

Subspecies name edit
If this is a new species why does it have three latin names, the way you describe a subspecies? Isfisk 21:49, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Some dumb journalist got it mixed up, and now it's all over the news as a "species" (oooh... colorful new birdie species!). See the other YBF page here.
- As another trivium, it was discovered some 2 years ago... takes some time to make sure it's new, write up the description, and get it into print. Dysmorodrepanis 22:58, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
