Article subject and style
editI disagree that this entry is written as an opinion piece. In fact, the author is creating a whole new subject for Wikipedia that is a valid, historical subject in the history of art. She is giving concrete examples of the topos of women in art and describing the content. Nmcourtright (talk) 18:57, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have made a few changes and additions that move this towards a more encyclopedic tone, mainly in the first paragraph. I think the 'opinion' problem is a result of trying to convey the opinion of Conlon who is cited several times and perhaps too much weight is put on his opinion with no counter arguments. My feeling is that those sections should be heavily edited and made clearer that it is his opinion only. Derek Andrews (talk) 01:38, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
