Merge Request

edit

A merge request is loose; to fuse Wipeout 3: Special Edition with this. Enthuse or abuse >> here. - RubyJester (talk) 11:29, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, the result was to merge the Special Edition article with this one. This is now done.
Our new article has 6 lists. None of which I think add anything useful or interesting. As for the two lists of race tracks it is a shame there is nothing to write about them. I checked the manuals and the only ones with accompanying backstories are those from Wipeout 64 that I duly added. Can we remove these completely?
I hope to tranform the 'Reviews' sections into summaries of the press at the time, but feel free to jump in before me :) - RubyJester (talk) 13:53, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Reviews now consolidated into prose, and Weapons section added. Let's promote this to B-class! - RubyJester (talk) 14:26, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Do we have any other source that it runs at 720x480?
IIRC, the PS1 only runs up to 640x480, and when run in an emulator (pSX), it reports that it runs at 512x256 (which is higher than the 320x240 many other PS1 games ran at), but I don't have a specific source to cite for this.

It would make sense to run this as a featured article in 2019, on the 20th anniversary of the game's release. But that's 2 years from now. --Harizotoh9 (talk) 23:52, 18 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

It's been done now in 2019. -iaspostb□x 00:41, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
