Disambiguation "Activist" is Inaccurate

O'Neal was not an activist. He was a crook and a policeman. I vote we just call that category "FBI Agent." If not, O'Neal was complicit in the political assassination of a capacious political activist, so O'Neal would be classified as a murderer. Wikipedia should not be in the tendentious business of amplifying police comms, such as categorizing a paid police "informant" (Really, agent, given he didn't just inform but prepared Hampton for the political assassination by drugging him. Calling paid police agents "informants" diminishes the work of and discriminates against police agents from lumpenproletariat backgrounds.)--who publicly disavowed ever being an activist or a real member of the Black Panthers--in an interview easily accessible to the public. (Youtube it.) O'Neal insisted that he was an agent of the FBI and not an activist. He acted as an agent of the FBI and not an activist. If it sounds like a duck, and looks like a duck, and walks like a duck...It's a duck. Assassination

Inconsistent dates

That was the first round of Eyes on the Prize, & O'Neal did not kill himself until nearly three years later. As the article mentions, the second round, America's Civil Rights Years 1954–1965 premiered on 1/15/1990, the same night that O'Neal died. Peaceray (talk) 22:47, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
