As mentioned in my bio, I work at Visa. Visa recently acquired Plaid and this person is the co-founder of Plaid. I'm trying to get more in involved with writing about financial services and wanted to start somewhere where I have a lot of knowledge. 6 months ago I started a similar draft and put it through the AFC submission, but it wasn't touched or commented on for ~4-5 months so I figured I'd give this route a shot.
