Nice job! Thorough and well-written article. Some feedback would be to watch for repetitions, such as the fact that he was the president of the Medico-Chirurgical Society of 1833. Also, capitalize the title of the "Ameliorating the lot of the poor" and maybe change the title because it is a bit confusing. Use fewer quotations and, instead, explain in your own words.
