Werner Hoppe (SS officer)Werner Hoppe – This is the only article on a person with this name in the Wikipedia. Therefore it is not only the primary, it is the only. Hoops gza (talk) 03:32, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Support per Google Books. In ictu oculi (talk)
Comment Before moving the page, could we ascertain whether the correct spelling is "Paul Werner" or "Paul-Werner"? Google Books seems ambiguous at a first glance, while on Google Scholar "Paul-Werner" seems more common. Both variants are much more widespread than just "Werner", though. In Ailsby's book, cited in the article, it is spelled: Paul-Werner. Kierzek (talk) 19:04, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not likely Saxony

edit

The text claims that Saxony was in the British zone. Saxony, however, was in the Soviet zone at the tame Hoppe was brought to the camp. It's most likely that Lower Saxony was meant which was, indeed, in the British zone. --80.81.10.205 (talk) 10:00, 30 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
