  •   New and long enough, QPQ done, all non-lead ¶ with citations, a copyvio check reveals no problems, hook content is interesting and is verified with a citation to a reliable source in the article. North America1000 00:35, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • @SL93 and Northamerica1000: I'm not thrilled with the grammar in this hook. New hooks are proposed below:
  • ALT0a: ...that American farmer Wayne Cryts's arrest for removing his soybeans from a bankrupt grain elevator led to a change in legislation by Congress?
  • ALT0b ... that the arrest of American farmer Wayne Cryts for removing his soybeans from a bankrupt grain elevator led to a change in legislation by Congress?
Thoughts? Z1720 (talk) 22:59, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure how "being arrested" is bad grammar, but the alt hooks are fine. SL93 (talk) 23:10, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Maybe "grammar" is the wrong word ("flow" might have been better) but "being arrested" sounded weird to me. Promoters can make a determination. Z1720 (talk) 23:14, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine with ALT0a. North America1000 09:29, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
