Conflict of interest edit

The information has been complied from major 3rd party sources, I see no conflicts —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vince7777 (talkcontribs)

Hello. The problem of a *possible* conflict of interest (COI) does not arise from the sources, but from the fact that this and a related article are your only edits and you username is Vince... just had the article's subject. Just a coincidence? Hard to believe.. Note that I am not implying you are Vince Stanzione - and actually I couldn't care less about that - only that you look too much close to the subject, risking a loss of the objectivity required here. Also the article's style can be much improved, a 'wikify' tag helps by calling your attention, and possibly from others, to that. So, please, let the tags stay for a while, to call other editors' attention to review it and possibly even improve it, if it is worth that. Thanks - Nabla (talk) 00:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Yes, please do not remove the maintenance tags until the concerns raised there are addressed, usually done by discussing here. The tags are somewhat related, as the Notability concern stems from the fact that the references you included are not particularly easy to parse due to their format, which is what the "wikify" tag was meant to say. I'll see about wikifying the references just to help along the review of the sources.
Regarding the COI tag, as Nabla alluded to, when we see a user named Vince editing an article about a person named Vince, all sorts of ears perk up. If you are in fact Mr. Stanzione, I invite you to read the Wikipedia guidelines for Conflict-of-Interest situations. Note up front that the COI guildelines do not prohibit you from editing the article, nor do they require you to announce any connection (though it is often seen as a good-faith move to do so if there is one). However, it lists some areas that you would want to pay special attention to, and also there should be the expectaion of extra eyes on the page. Other than that, just keep the article Neutral and Verifiable. Thanks! ArakunemTalk 15:38, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • I've wikified all the refs in the article. My opinion is notability is established so we don't need that tag any more. The article still has a slight non-encyclopedic tone due to phrases like "Inevitably, there had to be a fall", "sold it, on a roll, four years later", and similar, so I would ask that some attention be given there. • It looks like, doing a web search, that Mr Stanzione is mostly notable for self-promotion (see "www.vincestanzione.com/", "www.autocontact.co.uk/vincestanzione/", "vincestanzione.org/", etc., etc.) and this is just another go at it. Certainly not a reliable source, but worth noticing too is [1]. - Nabla (talk) 17:00, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Date of birth edit

Vince looks as though he is about 40 now. I want a birth certificate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.194.200 (talk) 13:37, 5 October 2010 (UTC) He seems to have been born in 1969. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.194.200 (talk) 13:40, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nomination for deletion edit

I have nominated this page for deletion. It appears to be nothing more than shameless self-promotion. (JosephLondon (talk) 14:43, 4 November 2010 (UTC))Reply

This article definitely needs deleting, not rewriting. If one were to come and write an article shamelessly promoting oneself, they could have done it a little more subtly than has been done here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.100.92.218 (talk) 20:34, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, self-promoting without much/any value. Seems to be the "career" of this guy. Judging from the photo, he didn't have much talent as a hairdresser. And now even less as "financial advisor". He is promoted (by himself) in various spammy ads touting how fantastic he is (something like "I lend money to Bill Gates and give financial advice to Warren Buffett while fixing his hair". At least the article mentions that his business was critizised and fined by regulators.
Not notable; maybe notorious. But perhaps we should keep some basic article (without his minions and suckpuppets interfering). Just as a warning to potential investors who need to check out Mr. Quattro Stagioni. 102.212.114.9 (talk) 05:19, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
