Is this the "well known Soviet propagandist"^† and author? Wait, he might be notable. He wrote a number of books, at least one translated into English and was available in libraries: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0000EBE5I I wonder if it's just that he is pre-internet, so won't get so many hits on search engines, and being a supporter of a failed regime won't help.
