Legacy section and inadequate sources edit

Samwisewebb, could you please explain your decision to revert my edit regarding the Postwar legacy section without addressing any of my concerns? The cited sources do not mention any postwar activities of the Minute Women, nor do they back up various other claims in the section such as The entire culture of wastefulness and overabundance had been dramatically transformed in the state of Utah.; In Utah, many brides found themselves wanting to repurpose materials to save and exercise frugality., and others. At best, you appear to be engaging in WP:SYNTH, misrepresenting US-wide phenomena as Utah-specific, and overstating the role of the Utah Minute Women beyond what the cited sources say. signed, Rosguill talk 23:20, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ian (Wiki Ed), thoughts? My view is that this isn't an appropriate use of Wikipedia, but would be more willing to turn a blind eye if it was being done in Draft or User space, even if that's still technically a violation of WP:NOTWEBHOST. signed, Rosguill talk 17:22, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Astratton8 if you feel like you need this section for your presentation, you can always use this archived version of the page. And yes, I agree with @Rosguill that edit warring for a presentation isn't appropriate. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:59, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I apologize, I didn't know there was an archived version. That was my mistake. Thank you for letting me know. Astratton8 (talk) 21:08, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's one of the perks of Wikipedia's format, everything is archived with the exception of when pages are deleted wholesale or due to copyright violations. You can view a specific revision of a page by going to its History tab and clicking on the time stamp of whichever revision you're interested in. signed, Rosguill talk 21:17, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
