This seems to be contradicted by the Place de la Concorde Wikipedia article, which states that the guillotine there (named "Place de la Révolution" at the time) executed more than 1,000 people, including Louis XVI, "Queen Marie Antoinette, Princess Élisabeth of France, Charlotte Corday, Madame du Barry, Georges Danton, Camille Desmoulins, Antoine Lavoisier, Maximilien Robespierre, Louis de Saint-Just and Olympe de Gouge."
