- ... that the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros football team were members of the United Athletic Conference but left before ever having played a game there? Source: [1] - the team has not played yet (it starts next year), and originally was a member of the United Athletic Conference, but it was announced last month that the school was moving to the Southland Conference - let me know if I need to make this more clear in the article
