I have changed the statement

In New Zealand tussock refers predominantly to the Poa, Chionochloa and Festuca species. to In New Zealand tussock refers to a plant that is usually found in the harsh areas of the country, such as mountains.

Comming from New Zealand myself, I have no idea why anyone would think Tussock refers to common grass. Tussock is more commonly a mountain plant. However if you disagree, change it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.98.22.198 (talkcontribs)

As far as I can see, even in New Zealand, "tussock" refers to tussock grasses, or at best, alpine communities dominated by tussock grasses, so I've sunk the two concepts together. If it turns out that the Kiwi concept of "tussock" is different, then please write an article, and it can be added to the links on this page. --Stemonitis 15:48, 17 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
