Talk:Trump–Tsai call

Lasting significance edit

Anyone have any indication of lasting significance here? I see there are no sources in the article from after December 2016 (when the event happened). In the last day, there was some news that "Trump spurns Taiwan president's suggestion of another phone call". Almost as though the call was part of a bigger subject regarding international relationships... Are people still of the mind that this call has the kind of sustained coverage and importance independent of the many articles on larger topics that could/do cover this subject? Trying to determine if a return to AfD would be a waste of time. Pinging Ansh666 from the last AfD only because he was explicit about "wait and see" rather than taking a clear k/m/r/d stance. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 18:03, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Seems to have gotten lost in all the Russia and North Korea mess. A new AfD wouldn't be a bad idea, though the lack of a clear merge target as mentioned in the previous one would IMO still drive a lot of people to keep. ansh666 18:19, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

NPOV Issue edit

This article feels extremely one-sided at this point, with very little mention of expert concerns about diplomatic impacts, and a lot of mention of Republicans saying that it isn't a big deal. Some relevant links for that point of view:
