It's true. This booklet contains mistakes: the publishing of "Montreal" should be credited to the composer Serge Gainsbourg (France Gall is just the singer). Iennes (talk) 17:23, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

The credit is that the song samples "elements of", so whatever elements it sampled were written by Gall, according to the liner notes; if you didnt have the liner notes, you wouldnt have the information of it being sampled in the first place, so you cant cherrypick what you believe to be right from a source, but ignore what you feel is wrong in the source. You also need to get through that thick skull of yours that songwriters are credited by their full names on first-reference, with subsequent references to them by their last names only. If you have a problem with MOS:ALBUM#Track listing, then bring it up at that guideline's talk page. This is not the place for contesting a guideline, so DO NOT restore your change to the track listing section. If MOS:ALBUM isnt convincing enough of a style/MOS guideline, then how about WP:MOS: "If discussion cannot determine which style to use in an article, defer to the style used by the first major contributor." Genre

Apparently it's OK to make "PBR&B," which is not a genre but a buzzword confined to a small portion of music press, the genre for this album without consensus, but it's not OK to make the genre the obviously acceptable "R&B" without consensus. The same could be argued about "R&B"; they're all terms used/originated by music journalists and the press (see neo soul). They usually decide how popular music is categorized. "R&B" isnt obviously acceptable. I get it. The Weeknd is black and sings, but a source is still needed, and specifity is obviously preferred. Dan56 (talk) 19:56, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

"PBR&B" isn't specific either. Trilogy removed from streaming

The remasters for "Trilogy" have been removed from streaming services by the Weeknd and replaced with the original versions of the three mixtapes, but there's no prominent sources talking about it, however it seems that this is only affecting the US and Canada as numerous fans have stated they can play the remasters in other countries. @Asknaffffwiki: I don't think it's a big deal that the album has been changed, and the album hasn't been removed at all from streaming platforms; it's just called Trilogy (original) now. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 19:16, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

@TheAmazingPeanuts Yeah, I agree. The only thing changed was the version of the song that plays (the original released version of the mixtapes in 2011 instead of the 2012 remasters), and it is what the Weeknd wanted. Nothing big has changed. Asknaffffwiki (talk) 19:42, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
