Trans Canada Pipeline

edit

Can it truly be called a Trans Canada Pipeline if in fact it does not encompass all of the Canadian provinces? The Trans entry in Wikipedia determines its use in geographic terms to convey the meaning "beyond" or "across" something. I have placed this question here along with the same question on the discussion page of History of the petroleum industry in Canada, part one for continuity. --HJKeats 15:39, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regardless, its name has "TransCanada" in it. Zhorken 17:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Parliamentary Procedure

edit

A vote in the House of Commons to limit debate, as in the Pipe Line debate, is cloture (pronounced cloz ure) rather than "closure" as it appears in the text of this article. (142.179.202.66 (talk) 22:26, 17 August 2010 (UTC))Reply

Inaccurate map

edit

The current map in the article doesn't appear to be very accurate. It makes it look like the main line looks like it goes well south of the Canadian border, for instance slicing right between the upper and lower portions of Red Lake in Minnesota. In reality, the pipeline stays north of the border, though there is at least one branch that comes off near Winnipeg (recently caught fire). —Mulad (talk) 11:50, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on TransCanada pipeline. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
